Individual Delegate Awards JEMUN Diplomacy Award (awarded to one delegate in each meeting room) JEMUN Position Paper Award (awarded to one delegate in each meeting room)
JEMUN Diplomacy Awards are based on the following criteria:
The delegate acted in the spirit of the United Nations and its values.
The delegate actively listened to the concerns of other delegates.
The delegate actively proposed compromises during Informal Informal negotiations.
The delegate showed kindness and good character.
The delegate submitted a position paper prior to the conference.
The delegate worked with collaboration, togetherness and teamwork in mind.
The delegate engaged with other delegates diplomatically and respectfully.
The delegate attended all sessions of the conference.
JEMUN Position Paper Awards at JEMUN 2017 are based on the following criteria:
The delegate followed the position paper structure outlined by JEMUN.
The ideas in the postion paper are organized thoughtfully.
The position paper utilizes thoughtful, consise grammar and langauge.
The position paper reflects a strong understanding of the topic of debate.
The position paper is solution-oreinted and acknowldeges other points of view
Delegation Awards JEMUN Positive Impact Award (awarded to 1 small, 1 medium and 1 large university delegation) & (awarded to 1 small, 1 medium and 1 large high school delegation) small delegation= 4 to 10 participants medium delegation= 11-19 Delegates large delegation =20 or more delegates
JEMUN Delegation Awards are based on the following criteria: While JEMUN Diplomacy Awards celebrate the ideals we embrace within delegates, JEMUN also recognises the outstanding group efforts made by university delegations attending our conference. This is carried out in the form of our JEMUN Delegation Awards. These awards are decided by JEMUN's Secretary-General after deliberation with meeting room Advisors and Chairs. Delegations will be divided into the following levels. (This is subject to change)
Small delegation= 4 to 10 students (one award)
Medium delegation= 11 to 19 students (one award)
Large delegation= 20 or more students (one award)

JEMUN goes beyond most traditional MUN conferences by providing participants with a variety of unique learning opportunities. Students can be a Country Delegate, Video Journalist, Newspaper Journalist, Podcast Journalist, Cartoon Journalist, Videographer, Social Media Journalist, Country Delegate using LEGO, Chair, Assistant Chair, or Magazine Editor.
