JEMUN 2021 Conference Theme
Making our World Safer from Drugs and Crime
On 25 September 2015, Member States of the United Nations adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and with it 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is intended as “a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity that seeks to strengthen universal peace in larger freedom.” The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) recognizes the interrelationship between sustainable development and the fight against drugs and crime, including corruption and terrorism and is committed to supporting member states in the implementation of this 2030 Agenda. JEMUN is excited to announce its partnership with the UNODC's Education 4 Justice initiative and offer six different meeting rooms at our 2020 conference to foster the understanding of the importance of Making our World Safer from Drugs and Crime.
