Dr. Kenro Taura
Dr. Kenro Taura is an executive director at Kiko Network, a non-profit organization, and has been working in the field of climate change prevention since 1997. He coordinates local activities for both energy conservation and promoting renewable energy as well as conducting symposiums and seminars. He also writes articles and oversees the publication of numerous brochures and books based on the activities and policies of Kiko Network. Mr. Taura is a part-time lecturer at Ryukoku University and Nagoya Gakuin University.
Prior to his time at Kiko Network, Mr. Taura worked at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, the Pacific Resource Exchange Center, Osaka, and the Japanese Embassy in Lao P.D.R.
Mr. Taura holds a Masters in Economics from the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies, Kobe University and is a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Innovation from Doshisha University Graduate School of Policy and Management, Kyoto.
